Watchmen Didn't Suck As Bad As You (we) Thought It...
i just rewatched the Watchmen (hah!) for the first time since it came out on DVD. I’ve got to tell ya, it held up way better on this viewing than it did when in theaters.
But why?
It’s still the same hyper stylized, over wrought and too literal interpretation of it’s source that everyone said it was almost 2 years ago.

Dear Everyone: It has taken me a lifetime but I have finally come to the conclusion that debating people is ultimately pointless. There are no such things as adults, there are just bigger people who still stick their fingers in their ears when they don’t want to hear you. Or occasionally they shoot you. Or legislate you into illegality. If you ignore them, they won’t go away.

Dear April Fool's Day:
Not for nothing, but it’s a little strange that we have designated a day where it is basically permitted to behave like a low functioning U.S. president. At least for a few hours. I wonder if we’re setting a bad precedent here…
